Thursday, January 08, 2009 -- VISTA, Calif. -- Directed Electronics has promoted Al Fontane to vice president of sales, eastern region, the company announced.
Fontane, a veteran Directed Electronics employee, was formerly the regional sales manager for the eastern region. He has worked for Directed for 15 years.
"Al is passionate about the business, his customers and team," said Glenn Busse, senior vice president of sales and customer care. "He runs it like a major league coach and makes it happen."
Long-time Directed Electronics dealers in the eastern region say Fontane is a superb salesman whose customers are his first priority, according to the company.
Fontane and vice president of sales for the western region, Steve Wood, report to Busse.
