Born in the 1980's in the dawn of the mobile audio revolution, Orion High Current Competition Amplifiers (HCCA) put the industry and the competition world on notice that Orion was a force to be reckoned with. HCCA gear is what you had to have to be the LOUDEST, the LOWEST, and the STRONGEST system on the block, with serious amounts of power driving ridiculously low impedences at completely sick output levels.Directed Electronics celebrates Orion's 25th Anniversary by re-introducing the old school look complete with the classic logo and distinctive red anodized metal amplifier casing. On the inside, it's all new and state of the art, but worthy of his ancestors!
The HCCA amps boast:
- All ratings in RMS power
- Removable top panel with key
- Top controls (protected and concealed by top panel)
- Machined End Caps
- Engraved logo and model
- Birth Certificates
The 4 new HCCA amps are:
- HCCA50001 - 5000W RMS Class D Mono
- HCCA25001 - 2500W RMS Class D Mono
- HCCA10004 - 1000W RMS 4 Channel
- HCCA10002 - 1000W RMS 2 Channel
Directed Electronics is launching the Silver Anniversary line with the most aggressive marketing plan designed to maximize margins, merchandise your store, drive traffic and even reward your sales team to sell your most profitable line. Haven't they learned anything from ALL the other REBRAND failures......what a joke.....that time has passed...
Full Range class D has left these old school turds in the history books where they belong..
Are you kidding?
Retro is the new black...have you seen the car makers bring back the Mustang, the Camaro, the Challenger??? How about Hollywood..."The Day the Earth Stood Still", "Journey to the Center of the Earth", "Look Who's Coming to Dinner" etc.
Moreover, how do you pass judgment on of all things audio equipment without listening to it???
I appreciate the comment, but I can't really agree with the content - Bob
